Today, Congressman Van Drew announced the authorization of a $10.3 million RAISE grant for the Atlantic Avenue Corridor Revitalization and Safety project in Atlantic City. This development marks a significant step towards enhancing the city’s infrastructure.

“This is a huge moment for Atlantic City, and I am excited to see this project finally moving forward,” stated Congressman Van Drew. He emphasized that after years of effort, the grant’s authorization will enable critical improvements to Atlantic Avenue. These improvements include repaving the roadway, upgrading streetlight synchronization, and implementing enhanced safety measures.

Van Drew highlighted that the project’s completion will benefit both residents and visitors by supporting local businesses, driving economic development, and strengthening the core of Atlantic City. He expressed gratitude to local leaders involved in the process and acknowledged the Trump administration’s role in prioritizing the grant’s approval.
