Atlantic County Institute of Technology standout Sophia Philippou’s college team lost in NCAA Division II softball game on Monday, April 14

On Monday, April 14, former Atlantic County Institute of Technology standout Sophia Philippou’s current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, lost 5-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Goldey-Beacom Lightning.

The game took place at Jackson Athletic Complex. This was their second matchup against the Lightning this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 12 p.m. at DUNY Softball Field against Dominican Chargers.
