Former Oakcrest High School standout Gunnar Smith played on Monday, May 19 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Monday, May 19, former Oakcrest High School standout Gunnar Smith’s current collegiate team the Felician Golden Falcons won 6-5 against the Molloy Lions in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Wilson Field at Jim Sherman Sr. Stadium at 2:40 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Molloy Lions in the tournament.

The Felician Golden Falcons’ next game will take place on Friday, May 23 at 3 p.m. at Dr. Arthur and Martha Pappas Field.
