On Saturday, April 19, former Atlantic County Institute of Technology standout Sophia Philippou’s current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Holy Family Tigers.

The game took place at Seaside Park Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m. at Seaside Park Softball Complex against Holy Family Tigers.
