On Tuesday, March 25, former St. Augustine Preparatory School standouts Holden deJong and Jake Meyers’ current college team, the NJIT Highlanders, lost 9-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Fairfield Stags.

The game took place at Don ’63 and Chris ’88 Cook Field. This was their first matchup against the Stags this season.

The Highlanders’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 3 p.m. at Mahaney Diamond against Maine Black Bears.
