Egg Harbor Township Ace to give away American flags

Egg Harbor Township Ace will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

New Jersey lost 589 soldiers in the Korean war and 920 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 2254 Ocean Heights Ave, Egg Harbor will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Roberts-Johnson Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Egg Harbor Township Ace while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Egg Harbor Township Ace is located at 2254 Ocean Heights Ave, Egg Harbor, New Jersey. This location is owned by Joseph Smith, represented by George Marinos and managed by Ted Basile.
