Last week, Deputy Dir. of Community Outreach Shavonne Davis traveled up to Franklin Township Police Department in Somerset, NJ on behalf of ACPO and National Alliance on Mental Illness- New Jersey (NAMI-NJ) for the officers' Mental Health Perspectives Training. Dep. Dir. Davis, a mental health advocate, participated as a panelist to discuss mental health experiences and crisis strategies from a multicultural perspective.
