On Thursday, April 17, former Atlantic County Institute of Technology standout Sophia Philippou’s current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Molloy Lions.

The game took place at Seaside Park Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Lions this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 12 p.m. at Seaside Park Softball Complex against Holy Family Tigers.
