Washington, DC - Today, Congressman Van Drew shared a preview of President Biden's upcoming State of the Union address in a statement released to the public.

In his remarks, Congressman Van Drew criticized President Biden, stating, "Tonight, Joe Biden will attempt to convince the American people that the State of our Union is strong. However, given his 38% approval rating, ongoing record inflation, an open border, and wars raging around the world, we know that is far from the truth."

Van Drew highlighted concerns about President Biden's handling of various issues, including the border crisis, economic policies, and foreign relations. He accused the President of failing to address the border crisis effectively, stating, "Joe Biden’s border crisis is unprecedented in scope and is a result of his own irresponsible policies."

The Congressman also criticized Biden's economic policies, claiming that they have led to increased financial strain on Americans. He stated, "Since Joe Biden took office, prices have surged 17.9%, costing Americans an additional $1,000 a month, while real wage growth has fallen behind inflation."

Furthermore, Van Drew expressed concerns about President Biden's energy agenda, alleging that it would lead to higher energy prices for Americans. He warned, "While his economic policies continue to force Americans to run through their savings, President Biden also wants to increase our energy prices by forcing his Green New Deal agenda on the American people."

In conclusion, Congressman Van Drew urged the American people not to be swayed by President Biden's rhetoric during the State of the Union address. He emphasized, "Do not let him tell you anything different tonight. You and I both know that we are far worse off today than we were four years ago."

The State of the Union address is scheduled to take place later today, where President Biden is expected to address the nation on a range of issues.
