Canoe Painting with the Community FREE event.
Stop by on Sunday, July 31st anytime from 11am to 3pm to help us paint two wooden canoes in the gallery.
One canoe was built from start to finish by 7 amazing kids, ages 8 to 15, last weekend.
This canoe will be painted with the winning canoe design, our kids design contest which just ended last night.
The second canoe will be painted with handprints from anyone in the community who wants to stop by, dip their hand in some colorful paint, and stamp their hand on the canoe. The resulting effect should look like fish scales.
