The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Community Outreach Team, AC Giving Hearts, Angels in Motion, HopeOne, met at the corner of Tennessee and Pacific Avenue from 10AM to 12PM and distributed clothes, toiletries, and other items that were donated through our co-workers, families, and friends. More than 100 food bags, which were prepared that morning were also distributed. These bags contained peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, a snack and water bottle. The Atlantic City Police Department Community Policing Unit also attended and assisted with this event. HopeOne was also able to assist three people with getting into substance abuse treat during the outreach event. Any clothes or food remaining at the end of the event was donated to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission and Salvation Army and those in need throughout the community.
