Today, Congressman Van Drew expressed his support for President Trump's recent pledge to address the issue of drone incursions with transparency. The congressman emphasized the importance of providing clear answers to the American public regarding these incidents.
"It is unacceptable that these drone incursions have been happening since November, and the people of South Jersey are still left without answers from this government," said Congressman Van Drew. He further stated, "President Trump has always put the American people first, and I have no doubt he will deliver the transparency we have been waiting for. His willingness to take on this issue is exactly the decisive leadership our country needs right now."
The statement from Congressman Van Drew follows President Trump's remarks on January 9th, 2025. In response to a question from a Fox News reporter about drones, Trump announced plans to release a report detailing information on drone incursions shortly after taking office on January 20th.
